Which Arrow Indicates the direction of acceleration, on the Ball? (Physics)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's Number 1 http://postimg.org/image/3nd0fzzgv/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What causes the ball to accelerate?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Force of gravity?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes and which way does that force point at R?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would say it's either straight down (3) or facing down tilted right (5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm gonna go with straight down?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they are trying to trick you, the path that is drawn shows you where the velocity is points at every point however the acceleration is caused by gravity which is always down ... you are right!

Alright. Thanks!
