Given: In triangle HOR, line SE is parallel to HO! Prove: If a line is parallel to one side of a triangle and also intersects the other two sides, the line divides the sides proportionally.

The line is parallel to Se to HO because a triangle has all the same sides. It matters what type, but parallel lines are the same and equal so that is my statement.
