OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Long time haven't done this, let me refresh memory :p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay! :p

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Ok apparently it's half the sum of the 2 arcs ie. <1=1/2(36+114)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm..150? would that be the answer?

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Times 1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

75?

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Yep !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about the second one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks so much by the way :)

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Anytime ^^ Use the same rule for the second 75=1/2(x+96) and solve for x.

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Sry it's 73 on your sheet not 75

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh so the answer would be b, 50?

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Yeah, that's correct ! For more info on angles inside cercles refer to this page http://www.regentsprep.org/regents/math/geometry/GP15/CircleAngles.htm Good luck :D
