summarrize the steps of glycolysis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For one glucose molecule to be fully oxidized into carbon dioxide, or ATP, it would go through four steps. The first is the glycolysis preparatory phase and the second is the glycolysis pay-off phase. Oxidative decarboxylation of pyruvate would be the third phase and Krebs cycle would be the fourth.
