By just looking at the graph, I can see that the shading is above the line. This means that there will be a greater sign. Also, the line is solid, this means there will be an equal sign. That leaves two choices...choice A or choice D. Lets look at choice A... y >= -2x + 1....the 1 is the y intercept to find the x intercept, sub in 0 for y 0 >= -2x + 1 2x <= 1 x <= 1/2 -- the x intercept is 1/2. So in this graph, does the line cross the y intercept at 1 and the x intercept at 1/2 ?
