a ball is thrown stright up into the air. as it is falling, explain the direction of the velocity and the acceleration

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when we thrown a ball straight up in the first moment we have the maximum kinetic energy(k=1/2mv^2),during the direction kinetic energy change to potential energy of gravity,(u=mgz),when the ball go up to the maximum height stop for short time,in this moment velocity is zero, int all of moment gravity acceleration effect on ball, ball come down and potential energy change to the kinetic again,in the which height of you trough the ball velocity is same first vorticity,
