Calculus study sheet help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

with what exactly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have finals to study fore so it covers a lot I think I have 4 study sheets

OpenStudy (phi):

if you put one question, and your answer in a post, people will be happy to correct/help you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought for 1 it was -pi/3 pi/2 as a typo because shouldn't the answer be -pi/2 pi/2?

OpenStudy (phi):

Here is the definition If f is continuous on a closed interval [a,b], and c is any number between f(a) and f(b) inclusive, then there is at least one number x in the closed interval such that f(x)=c. the tangent is not continuous at pi/2 (for example) so we can't include pi/2

OpenStudy (phi):

that will exclude all of your choices except one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that leaves the first two

OpenStudy (phi):

you're confusing me. are you saying -pi to pi does not include pi/2, which we agree we are not allowed to include in our interval ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-pi and pi includes pi/2 -pi/ to pi/3 includes spi/2 everywhere includes pi/2 so it would be -pi/3 to pi/2

OpenStudy (phi):

-pi/3 to pi/2 includes pi/2 so you don't want that one. you have only 1 choice -pi/3 to pi/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

doesn't that include pi/2?
