It says that all three groups have the same volume of 1 cubic meter and then it says to calculate the volume of each group. Makes no sense.

@mertsj is right...they have given the same volume...so volume remains the same...but in case of surface area...it changes...u have to cont no of cubes included and then multiple it by surface area of 1 cube.
