solve the inequalities -8-b<-8 the less than sign has a line under it so it equal or less I just didn't know how to type it

That sign means less than or equal to, I think you type it like <= For the equation, you need to first get b by itself, and because the eight is negative, we add eight to both sides. Now the equation reads -b<=0. Normally you would then divide both sides by -1 to get positive b alone, but zero cannot be negative. I believe that this equation has no solution.
