Help figuring these out? If each interior angle of a regular convex polygon is three times the measure of each exterior angle, what kind of polygon is it? A baseball diamond’s home plate has three right angles. The remaining two angles are congruent. What are their measures?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Let x= measure of interior angle Then 180-x = measure of exterior angle Interior = 3 times exterior Write and solve the equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how would I do that?? work backwards like, exterior/x and then what.. sorry I'm getting confused. and what kind of polygon would that make it?

@Mertsj

OpenStudy (mertsj):

It say that the interior angle is 3 times the exterior angle. The interior angle is x The exterior angle is 180-x Substitute.
