4x + y > 10 solve for y y > 10 - 4x y > 5 -2x (is this correct answer? I think I get how to do these now, but I want to make sure. THANKS!

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

4x + y > 10 solve for y \[4x + y \color{red} {-4x}> 10\color{red} {-4x}\]\[y>-4x+10\]

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

\[\color{red} {y>5-2x }\]is incorrect, because y is not zero, and you can;t factor it out of 2 and just cancel the 2 like this.
