what does the question ask u to do? graph it? rearrange to make x the subject?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

graph it.

Sorry i must have missed this question out in my notifications. I am happy to help you out now

OpenStudy (marigirl):

why dont you rearrange this equation to make y the subject 4x + 9y = -108? \[9y=-4x-108\] \[y=\frac{ -4x }{ 9 }\frac{ -108 }{ 9 }\] \[y=\frac{ -4x }{ 9 }-12\]

OpenStudy (marigirl):

now substitute in values of x (say from -3 to 3) to obtain your y value and then plot this on a graph

OpenStudy (marigirl):

it will look like this
