Find all the zeros of the equation. x^4 -6x^2 -7x - 6 = 0
how?
if it was me, i would use wolfram https://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=2x^4+-6x^2+-7x+-+6+%3D+0
I don't know how.
start by deriving the equation
can you use calculator?
I have to type every step.
hehehe @satellite73 puts the wrong equation into wolfram
4x^3-12x-7=0 that is ur derivative
wait what am i thinking nvm -.-"
@ngott3 make sure the asker understand what you say, I don't think he know what derivative is
yea im really tired ignore what i said b4
Sorry, I'm so confused.
ok, take a rest, and give out the right answer, I am waiting for you
@Burningitdown don't worry, you can ignore all guiding, because all are not right.
Alright.
I don't give you mine because I count my fingers when doing math; mine is not as good as others. That's why I keep silent. but if at the end, you don't have any help , you are forced to count your fingers with me, hehehe....
I'm terrible at math myself.
ok well do u remember doing anything in class where ur teacher told u to take an x value and test sub it so that ur answer will be equal to zero? well if u test sub in (-2) for ur x value u get zero this is important so that u can use long division or synthetic division?
I am with you @ngott3
No, since I'm online schooled it's a bit different.
well i prefer synthetic division |dw:1387249752957:dw|
