MEDAL FOR THE THE BEST ANSWER! If a gym class is divided into 4 equal teams, 2 students have to sit out; 5 teams, 1 student has to sit out; 6 teams, 4 students have to sit out. If there are fewer than 70 people in the class, what is the minimum number of students that need to be added so that the class can be divided into 4, 5 and 6 equal teams with no students sitting out?

So you would have to find a Factor of both 4, 5, and 6 which is greater than 70

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It would be 90

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So you would have to add 20 students

OpenStudy (loser66):

@kali96748 the problem said that "the number of student is fewer than 70"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ahah I see so it would be 60 so you would have to remove 10 students

OpenStudy (loser66):

but 60 is not the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its not?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10 students would be the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, you would have to subtract 10 students to be able to play without any students left out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4,5,6 all multiply into 60 equally

30 may work,,
