Which is true of an effective scientific model? It seldom needs refining because of its detailed accuracy. It clearly depicts the particular set of characteristics being modeled. It is an exact visual representation of the characteristics being modeled. It is the same size and color as the scientific phenomena being demonstrated.

I would say B. Models do need refining sometimes because we don't always get it right the first time; we can't make an exact visual representation of, say, an atom; and we definitely can't always make models the same size and color as the real thing, because that is pretty much impossible in some cases and would defeat the purpose of modeling in the first place.
