I REALLY NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!! The triangle on the left has a perimeter of 14 the triangle on the right has a perimeter of 21. \ The left triangle has a y on 2 sides and then a x on the third side. the ys are the same sixe. The right triangle says 5/4 y on 2 sides and the bottom says 3x. How do you find the value of x and y ????

pics?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its the part 2

OpenStudy (loser66):

what do you want me to do for you?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need help figuring out what x and y is on the triangles please :)

OpenStudy (loser66):

|dw:1387305544779:dw| so, so far, you have 2 equations , 2 variables, the system is solvable. Do it, show me your brain, please

OpenStudy (loser66):

And what do you want me to do for part 2? check your work?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the first would be y=7+1/2x right?

OpenStudy (loser66):

why y? why not x? x is quite easier, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then that is x=-2y+14

OpenStudy (loser66):

ok, plug to second one to get y. the net is so slow, sorry for that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its ok but wat do u mean by plug to second one to get y?
