Here is the problem
OpenStudy (nikato):
If its an isosceles triangle, what do u know about those 2 sides?
OpenStudy (nikato):
I meant trapezoid
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I know that they are congruent @nikato
Sorry I took SO long
OpenStudy (nikato):
its ok. so that means u can set up the following equation
5x-32=2x+61
and u should be able to solve for x

So first subtract 61 from both sides right?
OpenStudy (nikato):
u could do that, or u can also instead add 32 to both sides. but it doesnt matter, u'll still get the same answe
OpenStudy (anonymous):
SO it would be
5x=2x+93
OpenStudy (anonymous):
@nikato
OpenStudy (nikato):
yup and then u wanna try to get allt he x on one side

so divide by 2?
OpenStudy (nikato):
no, just subtract 2x on both sides
OpenStudy (anonymous):
okay so 3x=92
OpenStudy (nikato):
*93 and what would u do to isolate the x on the left sidde
OpenStudy (anonymous):
than divide by 3 which will get my final answer of 31

Thank You!
