do you know where to start i think the inequality : 6P + xM >= 168 would work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait this inequality is wrong, if p represents the hours then the equation should look like this: 6 + m (>=) 168

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so as a result i would subtract 6 from 168 so i would get: m =162 i think,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no because m stands for the amount of pay so: 6P = 6 (x) 8.75 = 52.50 so really the inequality is: 52.50 + x (x) 8.25 (>=) 168.00 so i would get: x (x) 8.25 (>=) 115.50 x (<=) 115.50/ 8.25 x(<=) 14 so he would have to work 14 hours to get $168

i got it correct, thx sometimes i just need to talk to myself...
