Maybe there should be a section dedicated to recent news and trends? It could help some of us understand why events happen and/or why trends come about?

That basically is what Feedback is for, but having one section mainly for news and updates about the site would be kind of nice. It helps separate the Feedback from users (and the spam questions :P) from the News Questions. I like this idea. :3

That is a good idea.  But we would need mods to really keep an eye out on that section.  Otherwise "recent news" may turn into "debate club"
