The amount of the radiopharmaceutical given to a patient is just sufficient to obtain the required information before its decay.True or False???

OpenStudy (aaronq):

what information?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im not sure my teacher gave this as homework... @aaronq

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont understand it either ha

OpenStudy (aaronq):

hm it's kinda vague. It seems like there would be an antecedent of the statement..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah.. if you had to guess what would be the best answer? @aaronq

OpenStudy (aaronq):

lol my guess is just as good as yours, i would say false.

OpenStudy (jfraser):

my guess is "in ANY radiological test" should come before the rest of the question to make it more useful. Too little, and the sample decays before the diagnosis is made; too much, and the radioisotope is present in the body too long, leading to potential harm. I'd guess true.
