Distance on graph Help!!! A group of college students built a self-guided rover and tested it on a plane surface. They programmed the vehicle to move along the path A–B–C–D–A represented on the coordinate plane. What distance will the rover cover if it completes one circuit?

Use the Pythagorean Theorem to calculate BC then count the squares for the rest of the circuit.

Get BC using the distance formula (see attached). There is an online distance calculator at http://easycalculation.com/analytical/distance.php The posted diagram has a blue dot on 54 meters. That is not the correct answer. @theislander
