Are you sure you have the correct equations? These objects intersect, so there are an infinite number points that are on both surfaces.

on the other hand, if you had the equations z=x^2+y^2+10 x+2y-z=0 the surfaces do not intersect, and the question makes sense. (one way to solve is lagrange multipliers)
