***!DESIGNER SPERM!*** The "new genetics" promises to change faulty genes of future generations by introducing new, functioning genes using "designer sperm." Research shows that introducing genetic material via a viral vector into mouse sperm leads to the presence and activity of the genetic material in the embryos. These genes are inherited and functioning through three generations of the mice tested, and the discovery could break new ground in genetic medicine.

great ^_^

thanks for sharing .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

awesome!!! thnx for the newz!!

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

ur welcome..:D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wow. Thanks xD

OpenStudy (opcode):

No thanks I'll keep my genetics as how they are now.

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

lol @Opcode ..obv u cant change ur genes now...but maybe ur kids...:P

OpenStudy (opcode):

Well I wouldn't want to change my kids genes, it would just be odd saying I genetically engineered you to look the way you are today. Mother nature knows best ;-).

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

its not about the way u look...its is used to remove some genetically inherited disease...and obviously then this becomes really important...

OpenStudy (opcode):

Meh, knowing the timeline of humans. Good research > Good use > Bad use > Worse use > Abuse use. So this genetic research will be helpful in curing disease, but soon someone will use it for the incorrect purpose. It is the timeline of humans, we have to take good discoveries and use them for bad ideas. Though with this genetic research we may have the change to completely eradicate polio. So there is a benefit.

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

ya..i do agree wid u on this part...but i think because of some humans we should not stop praising the research of very good scientists...because they found this out for a very good cause....^_^

OpenStudy (abb0t):

This is simply a more contemporary type of in vitro fertilization.
