How did the media shape public perception of the Vietnam War? Reporters frequently attacked Johnson over his administration's failed policies. For the first time, people saw up-to-date news coverage of war on television. Newspapers refused to cover events that might show the war in a negative light. Protestors published magazines and appeared on television to explain their message.

B, being able to see the action was a big thing back in 'nam... I had family who served in it, I'm big of war history and in all actuality, we never declared war... If we were too, we could of wrapped it up easily in 90 days or less at any point.
