OpenStudy (jjuden):

What is the slope of the line that passes through the points (3, 1) and (–2, 5)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1. subtract the y values (1 from 5) 2. subtract the x values (3 from -2) 3. divide the value from step 1 by the value of step 2

OpenStudy (jjuden):

so 4/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yess almost I told you backwards, its actually -4/5 but you did what I told you to do exaclty so that method/procedure will be the same every time you want to find the slope between two points. ^_^

OpenStudy (jjuden):

thanks :3
