well you need to add the predicate. ''an old shoe'' what? what did it do, or what quality of it are you describing? just add something like that and you got it.
Like, "I found an old shoe"?
yes, but that isn't talking about the old shoe being or doing something. I forgot to add that you can indeed use yourself or another pronoun as the noun in the sentence. but yes, that's perfect.
