Do you know what f o g means?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes f(g(x))

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Did you get x for f(g(x)) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes I got x for both

OpenStudy (mertsj):

So what is your question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well when I put in it said that I was wrong so I was wondering if I did it correctly

OpenStudy (mertsj):

What did you get for v(x) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9(x-1)/9 +1=x-1+1=x

OpenStudy (mertsj):

If you will notice, in the example on your worksheet, v(x) has to be (x-1)/9

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Because 9 ( (x-1)/9) +1 = x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank you
