Which side do you think was better prepared for the Civil War, the North or the South? Explain your answer.
The Confederacy in the beginning, we were saving cotton to trade to England for service. In the end, the North had more factories and more railroads.
thank you!
The North because they had more people, though the south had the home point advantage, the north had more weapons and used former slaves as soldioers
The Confederacy was more determined though and were better soldiers. Some slaves even were inspired to fight for them... If you look, the South gave the North a good run for their money... Whereas everyone thinks all southerners were racist, that's a lie... Only a few were really cruel... Unlike the northerners who hated the Irish and treated them like dogs (literally)
Plus, not the whole war was fought below the Mason Dixion line.
I know that, but the north choked out all of the souths resources so there was no possible way of them winning, and whether southerners were rascist or not, most slaves refused to fight for the south, but instead joined the north in exchange for freedom
In addition there were also many Irish Brigades that fought on both sides, hence it could also be a mini Irish civil war ahah
