You know its a parallelogram, so the perimeter is just 2*(length of 1 side + length of the other). One side is 22, and the other side you can find using the Pythagorean Theorem because its the hypotenuse of a right triangle. The other side is \[\sqrt{5^2+12^2}=13\]

No, the side of the parallelogram that you don't know is 13. Opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal, so you know the perimter is 22+22+13+13
