99% of problems can be fixed with a simple restart. :-).

I generally start with trying to get a good description of the problem.  Many people have no clue how to use the proper terminology, so getting a good description can let you discover what the real issue is.

If you work for HP Customer Support the first question you would ask would be: "Is your computer plugged in?" I'm not kidding either.
