~~~Fan And Medal~~~ Which graph represents the solution set for the following compound inequality? −3 ≤ −2x +1 < 11
@Directrix
I think it's the third graph
Did you solve this yet: −3 ≤ −2x +1 < 11
I'll look at the third graph.
Okay and Did you solve this yet: −3 ≤ −2x +1 < 11 Yes
I got (-5,2)
No way did you get an ordered pair as the solution to a compound inequality.
Oh :/ lol I was trying to do it with mathway
I got this: -5 < x ≤ 2
Which graph option has a hollow on -5 and then a solid dot on 2 and all the numbers between -5 and 2 shaded? @SOS101
lollllll I Should, and one more thing I forgot , when the line is like this < does that mean shaded in?
< is hollow
Oh The second graph
Wonder of wonders. I think it is the third graph as you first said. Look at it.
The second graph does not have shading between -5 and 2 so the second graph is wrong.
Lolll Oh geez I need my glasses , for some reason the Third Graph looked like it was shifted closer to the 2 :////// My Bads
To a 3 I meant
It is a little off but none of the other options are contenders.
Very True :) Thank You Very Much Directrix
