a 16ohm resistor is connected in series with a parallel combination of two resistors one of which has an ohmic value of 48ohms the other one R being unknown. WHat is the resistance R if the power taken by the 16ohm unit is equal to the power in parallel connected pair of resistor?

OpenStudy (rane):

u can find R(t) in parallel using : = (R^-1 + R^-1..)^-1 since there are 4 resistors in total of 16ohms

OpenStudy (rane):

can u draw me the diagram ?
