I need help finding the diameter 'd'. my professor said i should google to answer to find a number (i think this means there is a theoretical factor by which the areas are related. but maybe not. btw v2 is not given so i can't just use continuity)

it's a boat on water (there should be an anchor holding it back but i forgot to draw it)

a rectangular flow A1V1 is occurring under water. the flow deflects on both sides of the boat at an angle alpha into 2 cylinders of diameter d.

i want to find d
