1.75h + 2 = 0.75h + 7 (now solve for x -- the number of hours)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
oops...solve for h
OpenStudy (anonymous):
1.75h + 2 = 0.75h + 7
1.75h - 0.75h = 7 - 2
h = 5
1.75(5) + 2 = 0.75(5) + 7
8.75 + 2 = 3.75 + 7
10.75 = 10.75 (correct)
A person can rent a bike, at either shop, for five days and it will cost the same.
5 days cost 10.75
Is this what your question is asking ?

Yah it is asking how many hours you can rent a bike for the cost to be the say. I'll just put 5 days in hours.
