Is a) 4,4-dimentylhexanoic acid, b)3-chlorobutanamide acid c)decanoic acid?

OpenStudy (abb0t):

B and C are incorrect. C is not a carboxylic acid, it is an ester. and B, is an alkyl alkanamide, basically, amine derivatives of carboxylic acids. So You replace the -oic acid with amide. I'll help you with B since It looks like you're unfamiliar with it, but you can do C. B is 3-chlorobutanamide.

Why did you bump this?
