Whoa. Sorry. Multiplying your original equation, 0.3x2+0.2x−0.1=0, by 10, will result in 3x^2 + 2x -1 = 0, not 3x^2 + 2x -11 = 0 Please go back and verify this. So, we're attempting to solve 3x^2 + 2x -1 = 0. I'd suggest factoring. The quadratic formula would be an alternative tool for factoring.
