OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well the 2 angles are supplementary 3x + 20 + 5m = 180 or 8m + 20 = 180 solve for m then angle 1 = 3m + 20 since opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal... hope this helps

It doesn't really it just confused me more I'm thinking its twenty now

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

nope... solve the equation for m... well m is 20.... now substitute it into 3m + 20 what do you get..?

80

OpenStudy (campbell_st):
