Medals Given! Also Fan. The 8th grade shop class decided to make stools and chairs for their woodworking project. Each stool had 3 legs and each chair had 4 legs. They completed 7 all together and used 24 legs for the project. The system of linear equations x + y = 7 and 3x + 4y = 24 represents the problem, where x is the number of stools and y is the number of chairs. To graph this system of equations, there are two methods we can use – tables or x and y intercepts. 1. Tables – complete the following tables and find the solution. (4 points) x + y = 7 3x + 4y

i would really like the help. plus my bro will give you a medal and fan.

@Mertsj could you help me?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

It says to complete the following tables. Where are the tables?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x y 1 6 2 5 3 4 4 3 X 2 dk 4 dk 6 dk 8 dk

@Mertsj

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Solve the second equation for y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do i solve it? @Mertsj

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just give me the way to solve it dont give me the answer tho.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

1. Subtract 3x from both sides 2. Divide both sides by 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

on the table @Mertsj

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do i start with 2 on the table

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Write this equation on your paper: 3x+4y=24

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Subtract 3x from both sides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so X + 1Y=24?
