Admission to the movie is $7.50 for adults and $3.50 for students. The theater's goal is to receive $1500 in revenue for the evening. Write an equation that models in this relationship. (: Please help :)
its probably going to be a two variable equation
in other words How much is the theater supposed to receive in the end variable 1 (choose any variable 'a', 'b', 'c' ...) adult admission variable 2 (same thing just do not choose the same as 'variable 1') child admission price multiplied (ex. 2 or 3 times ) will be the number of how many tickets bought
how? i don't understand.
how much will be the ending revenue be
idk?
theater revenue
its in the word problem
1500?
yes
hello?
it is supposed to count the number tickets of adult and child admission that equal to the price of the theater revenue 1500
child admission adult admission = 1500 (theater revenue)
7.50 + 5.50=1500?
on the right track but you need more
you need the variables those are only numbers nothing to separate them from being adult tickets and child tickets
how?
lets say i give an example i want to buy oranges 2.00 enough for 10.00 put it into an equation i would need G = orange 2.00 G = 10.00
7.50A + 3.50 S=1500?
:)
rt? this is the answer?
you only need the equation right?
yep that's all
oh thank you :D
-3*-3(2*2-4*-7)?
-216 0r 288?
