OpenStudy (gavin39):

How can synthetic division be used to find factors of polynomial functions?

OpenStudy (gavin39):

Just need a quick explanation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://www.purplemath.com/modules/synthdiv2.htm It's just a shorter way of long division basically. It lets you divide something like x^2 + 2x +1 by (x+1) to get (x+1)

OpenStudy (gavin39):

Would you mind helping me on a few other explanations @theplqa no need for actually answers just how to do them?
