MEDAL I NEED HELP PLEASE The graph: a coordinate plane with a colored in, closed figure. Each segment must be labeled. The inequalities: show the work for finding the inequality that defines each segment. A point: choose a point within the boundaries of the shape and show algebraically that the point satisfies all of the inequalities.

ill give the graph

i already answered part a i just need part b and c please help if you understand it

OpenStudy (phi):

do you have the equations of the 3 lines that form the triangle ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no in the graph it tells you where the lines lay i just dont understand how to turn them into equations

OpenStudy (phi):

Can you find the slope of any of the 3 lines ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not sure how

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just need the inequalities for the three segments

OpenStudy (phi):

the inequalities will be equations of the lines, but with ≥ (or ≤) replacing the = sign. so to find the inequalities you first need to find the equations of the lines. the first step in finding the equation of a line is to find its slope. You might start with this http://www.khanacademy.org/math/algebra/linear-equations-and-inequalitie/slope-and-intercepts/v/slope-of-a-line

ok
