please help simplify and walk me through it. 5x-30/x+4 (times) x+4/x^2+12x+36

Well the answer is 5(x-6)/(x+6)^2. So first I factored out everything so 5x-30=5(x-6) and x^2+12x+36=(x+6)(x+6). I just took out the x+4's and ur left with 5(x-6)/(x+6)^2

But to be honest I dont trust my way of taking out the x+4's so I would ask someone else further
