He contributed to how animals can adapt to their environments. He developed it by studying different types of finches, and how their beaks had changed due to their environment, on the Galapagos Islands.

I'm not sure about that one. I know it has to do with like evolution and how they all have characteristics passed down from their ancestors that they all have in common. They all might have characteristics that they obtained that help them carry out some of the same processes they need to live.
