Which word in the sentence is an adjective? A Caribbean island was the location of the reunion. A. Caribbean B. location C. reunion D. island

Well, an adjective is a descriptive word. B is out because it doesn't describe anything. It states where the reunion is, but it doesn't describe it. C is out because it's a noun and within a prepositional phrase. Island is out because it's also a noun. This leaves you with A. Caribbean which makes sense because Caribbean DESCRIBES island therefore making it an adjective.
