Anyone know a good way to fix a mistake in watercolor? (using a canvas)

Basically made a leaf way too green and i don't know how to fix it. Please help.

You could try to soak up some of it by adding a little water and swirling it around on the too dark of a color.
ps, sprinkle salt on watercolor paintings while wet and it gives it a ruggid look when you scrape the salt off. like what can be used on trees or dirt.
