OpenStudy (hkmiu):

Does g(x)= (x-1)/((2x+1)(x-5)) have a horizontal asymptote? Or is it 0?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

If the horizontal asymptote is y = 0, then that is still an asymptote. If the degree on the top is lower than the degree on the bottom, the asymptote is y = 0.
