When a figure is dilated, the corresponding angles created are always....? A. congruent B. similar C. enlarged D. reduced I think it's A :)

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

dilation does not alter the shape

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's C. Like, when you get your pupils dilated at the eye doctor, they get bigger. The same thing would happen if you dilated corresponding angles. They would just get bigger, but the shape would not change.

OpenStudy (primeralph):

Dilation means expansion.

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

A is correct the dilated figure is the same shape as the original one. similar figures have equal angles

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

ie congruent angles
