Which fraction represents the ratio 4:10 in simplest form?

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Any ideas? Note when they write the ration a:b it means the same as the fraction $$\frac {a}{b}$$

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

It would be 2:5 - 4/2 ---> 2 10/2 ----> 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you! That's what I put down as my answer, but I just wanted to make sure. :)

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

No problem! You are then correct! :)

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Thanks for asking :)
