how can i prerpare for iit jee by the remaining 3 months of my class 11th ... i am using h c verma but not able to understand the theory well can i use dc pandey ....please suggest

there is no theory in DC pandey. First practice through h c verma. ...awesome book

First read theory carefully. Then solve examples. later on exercises.

i am also preparing for the iit jee examination 2015
and i'm in class 11and even i feel sometimes that how should i study and recently i've discovered something
look for physics you need to have a conceptual and a scientific approach
but you don't need to get stuck to a concept as a problem may contain more than one concept
h c verma concepts of physics is a very good book sometimes some people find it difficult to understand the theory given in the book
so i suggest that you may read the theory only once before solving the questions in the exercise and if you don't understand how to solve a problem , then you may approach your mentors and teachers and even openstudy i'll surely try help you (you just need to mention me in a reply)
moreover as i said it before be conceptual in your approach
heres an example,
if you're solving a question involving rotation ,
to find the direction of friction, if you see the direction of motion , you may not be able to determine the correct direction of friction as friction opposes relative motion and not only the translational motion (this was just an example to explain that why you should be conceptual in your approach)
moreover (this word is being repeated i don't know why??)
if you want to become a pro in physics, you need to practice very much and you need to practice day and night and blah blah blah...
it's not like that
you just need to analyse the question and you should know the correct way how to solve it and you'll be able to do this with just adequate,appropriate but qualitative practice not quantitative
for this you need to refer a few books
hcv is very good but apart from this , i refer together with iit-jee physics
this is a very good book and will surely help you with a short but a deep rev. of the whole chapter

for chemistry , you should be good in organic chemistry as it covers 2-3 questions in the examination
for this you need to refer organic chemistry books and as we all know o p tandon is a very good author for organic chemistry
then you can even go for a physical chemistry dedicated book as it is an important part of chemistry
and for physical chemistry, the class notes are enough but to be a pro, you can refer dedicated books


for maths, you need qualitative practice just like physics and some skills that will develop with time and practice
you can refer to books written by s.l. loney (plane trig. part 1 and 2 and co-ordinate geometry) these books are available for free download and if you want it , i'll upload the link and you may get many other books in the market that'll help you a lot to develop your skills


and the most important thing
you should be satisfied with your studies
don't always try to be like any other
never loose hope and hard work
be satisfied with your marks whatever you get even if it's a negative always think that -ve charge attracts +ve charge very effectively and so you'll do
always try to help everybody and never envy others and i've got lots to say but you may be waiting for a reply(lol) as i am typing from a long time

never be upset with your marks and get inspired by your username 'happygirl' and always be a happy girl

and the most important thing is that have a specific goal be determined and always think that you can do it
