Queen Elizabeth I, England (1533–1603) Protected the people: Identify at least two actions of the leader that benefited or protected the people. Explain. Identify any actions that endangered or compromised the well-being of the people.

OpenStudy (wach):

What do you mean?

OpenStudy (wach):

Well, Elizabeth I was pretty awesome in terms of her transformative policies and ideals - for example, she didn't associate with a specific religion which was a huge thing in her age. Some things that she did: - protect Protestants in the Netherlands in the Treaty of Nonsuch - passed a number of moderate Protestant measures, such as issuing the 39 Articles - commissioned Sir Francis Drake to attack the Spanish port of Cadiz, delaying the arrival of the Spanish Armada ... etc. Tell me if I should expand on / explain these points better. :)
